FAQs
Q: My yoyo isn't working!
A: If you're not sure what is wrong or how to fix it, please send us message! We are here to help - sometimes trying to fix it may make it worse.

Q: My unresponsive yoyo is responsive
A: Bearings are moving parts. Just like cars they require maintenance every now and then. If it does need a clean, soak in lighter fluid or isopropyl alcohol for a short while & give it a spin.

Q: My looping yoyo is not sleeping
A: Yoyos designed for looping such as D1 GHz and Loop 720 have a tighter gap optimised for looping. A few things to check if its not sleeping:
- Is there a kink in the string near the bearing?
- Is the string new? Older string will stretch out and get a bit thinner
- Did you change to a string too thick?
- Is there too much string tension (take the string off your finger let it unwind)
Q: How often should I change my string?
A: There is no exact timing but I would say definitely replace if its fraying near the bearing (avoid the string snap). If a string is grimy I would also recommend to replace as sweaty string can rust the bearing faster. If you are storing your yoyo for some time, it is recommended to remove the string to protect the bearing.
Q: My bearing is stuck, how do I remove?
A: If its working fine, don't fix it! But if you really do need to remove it, DON'T USE PLIERS! Pliers can warp your bearing, break the surface to promote rust or scratch the surface of your yoyo if you have a slip (then it will cut string).
Use the cylindrical bearing tool & rock gently back & forth. Lots of small motions will get it out, avoid big movements
Q: My unresponsive yoyo won't sleep very long because it tilts quickly
A: No matter how straight you throw, the yoyo will eventually tilt unless you correct it. This is due to how the string is wound on the yoyo. With the right technique and practice, you can win that long sleeper contest!
