ReCognition Redux

A revised version of Colin Beckford's most popular signature model.

We released the ReCognition over 5 years ago, and a lot has changed since then. When Colin decided to compete again a few months ago, he had some ideas for adjusting Recognition to align with the times and his personal preferences.

The first step was to increase the size of the yoyo in both width and diameter by a small amount - these changes allowed for the yoyo to not only follow the current trend of wider catch zones for bigger tricks, but also keep a similar proportion compared to the original and not feeling extreme.

In addition to changing the specs, we also rounded out part of the profile for a better, more elegant feel in hand.

The final product is something special. The changes were enough to maintain the familiarity of the original design while also providing a fresh feeling when using it.
